REUNITED - Stolen...Kissimmee, FL

 Update 11/01/12 - This morning a citizen, who wants to remain anonymous, contacted the Kissimmee Police Department to report that she may have found the missing dog. Detectives retrieved the dog and took her to Osceola Animal Clinic located on Main Street in Kissimmee to have the chip scanned. The clinic verified that the dog was in fact Leia and also ensured the dog was in good condition.
 

The dog is being reunited with her owner.


DOGNAPPED ! Kissimmee Police Looking for Grand Theft Suspect described an older model sedan, possibly a gold or silver Toyota Camry leaving the area around the time of the incident.

10/29/12– Kissimmee Police detectives are looking for a grand theft suspect who stole a resident’s dog.
 
On Oct 24, 2012, an unknown suspect vandalized a home in Creekside Estates in Kissimmee. While vandalizing the home, the suspect took the victim’s Jack Russell Terrier and left a note telling the victim they had her dog. A witness described an older model sedan, possibly a gold or silver Toyota Camry leaving the area around the time of the incident. 


The dog is valued at approximately $1,000 and responds to the name Leia. The dog is spayed and is equipped with a microchip.

If anyone locates the dog, it can be dropped off at the Kissimmee Police Department or the Osceola County Animal Control Shelter located at 3910 Old Canoe Creek Road in St.  Cloud.
